Armada League Lineup
Get the rundown on the esports leagues Armada plays in.
Throughout the year, Armada participates in a number of leagues representing collegiate gaming for a wide range of titles like Call of Duty, League of Legends, Hearthstone, and more.
TESPA has focused on bringing competitive collegiate esports to students and esports organizations across the country for years. With over 270 chapters and over 120,000 Tespa members and alumni, the organization is a leading force for collegiate esports. Armada joined Tespa in 2017 and has played in their Overwatch, Rocket League, Hearthstone, and Call of Duty tournaments.
NACE (National Association of Collegiate Esports)
The National Association of Collegiate Esports was founded in 2016 and has grown to include over 170 institutions on its roster. Since joining in 2018, Armada has played in NACE’s Rocket League, Smite, Battleground of the Gods, Fortnite, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and Call of Duty tournaments.
CCL (Collegiate Call of Duty League)
CCL takes the intensity of professional Call of Duty gameplay and brings it to the collegiate playing field. Founded in 2018, the league has hosted two years of competitive seasons. Armada joined CCL in 2019 and went on to finish in ninth place overall in their 2020 Call of Duty league.
CSL (Collegiate Star League)
Collegiate Star League holds the honor of holding the first collegiate esports competition in 2009 and currently has teams from over 1,800 college campuses playing in their leagues. Since joining in 2018, Armada has played in tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Fortnite, League of Legends, CS:GO, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Magic: The Gathering Arena.
CLoL (College League of Legends)
Directly sponsored by Riot Games, CLoL is a student-led network of League of Legends players that offers teams access to unique challenges and events. Armada joined CLoL in 2018 and currently plays in the many League of Legends tournaments offered by the league.
