In partnership with lifestyle magazine Growing Bolder, Armada athlete Megan "PeptoAbysmal" Danaher and recent grad Daniel "Takasu" Hernandez were able to gain valuable experience in esports event production assisting on an Among Us tournament hosted live from the Full Sail University Orlando Health Fortress.

Growing Bolder’s BolderX iGen Among Us event saw senior gamers compete in a tournament hosted by Trivium frontman Matt Heafy, Growing Bolder founder Marc Middleton, and Full Sail Armada Esports Strategist Bennett Newsome.

"Events like BolderX iGen help provide students opportunities to work on live esports productions, get real-world experience, and gain credits on resume-worthy events before they graduate," says Bennett.

For Game Art and Entertainment Business grad Takasu, the event was a great place to learn more about the behind-the-scenes operations of an esports event. Working with Armada athlete and captain PeptoAbysmal, the team kept track of scores and perspectives to keep the on-screen action happening for viewers.

"Events like this prepare us to be speedy and efficient with our communication and data recording," says Takasu. "Keeping a close eye on the 10 different perspectives and getting to see their reactions while keeping score was both fun and thrilling."
